The Fencing of Swimming Pools Act, 1987 requires all spa and swimming pools to have a fence and gate system that meets the minimum legal requirements.
Swimming pool fence regulations state that all fences must be 1.2 metres above ground level and the pool fence gate must have a latch 1.5 metres above the ground and open away from the pool.
